Bob began working in the building service with Augusta Lumber Company in 1973, spending most of his time in on-road contractor sales. During that time, he gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience. In 1989, he moved to the Auburn area to take over as the construction manager for MLT investments. Then in 1991, Bob set out to establish his own contracting company—one that balanced years of experience with a central philosophy of community and family. Over the years, he has grown the company from residential and light commercial to larger commercial projects. With this growth, Bob has always prided himself on maintaining a close, personal relationship with all of his customers. He cares deeply about his community and has great pride in being a Mainer. Bob is a proud father of three sons, three stepsons, six grandchildren and counting.
Ryan started working with his father at the ripe age of sixteen and had an immediate eye for the trade. He then went onto attend Southern Maine Technical Institute, where he specialized in construction and construction management. Ryan officially joined RDB Construction in 2000. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience and hands-on knowledge. Ryan is now known for being an excellent carpenter in both rough and finish work, a great job site leader, and incredibly personable business partner. He is now the vice president of RDB construction, part-owner of the company, and construction and sales coordinator in both residential and commercial projects.
